Why Do Grown Men Have Wet Dreams?

June 1 - The Feast of the Child

When I started writing this blog, I promised you even some story about my country and culture Romena, especially the good things that are unknown abroad. Well, few people know that June 1 is celebrated the Feast of the Child, and is celebrated in other East European countries like Poland, Bulgaria or the Czech Reppublica In fact, many countries around the world have their own date for this holiday but in Romania and in Eastern Europe is celebrated tomorrow ...!

In my day (warning: I'm beginning to sound like a granny nostalgic!:-P), that is, when I was in kindergarten and elementary school, went to Mrs. Maestra and the entire classe al parco giochi, e c'erano pure dei regali per noi, come i dolcetti e i libri delle favole.

It 's true that perhaps the time is not easy, but do not forget to become, at least for a while now and then, happy and carefree as it once! Do not abandon the child in us!

"Armando Testa - Design Ideas"

For lovers of visual arts, there is an opportunity to visit the exhibition dedicated to the creations of great advertising, author and graphic artist Armando Testa. Those who work in advertising and communication certainly know this name as that of an advertising agency in the old tradition. But at the same time, there are many other jobs that are of Armando Testa less well known especially to younger audiences. First of all, it will make a journey through the most famous advertising creations through the years: Perroni, Sanpellegrino, Borsalino, and, of course, the blue hippo Lines, the elephant and the Pirelli simpaticissmo Caballero Misterioso and his Carmencita, created Paulista for Lavazza in the 60s.

But what struck me most was the way in which Armando Testa has been able to use simple shapes to create something innedito. The first example, found right in the first room after the entrance, is the image of the sphere lies on the half-ball logo, Punt e Mes or The sculpture "Chair with Pencil," which combines two common objects in a surrealist painting - a pencil that pierced the chair. Or, in some designs the animal meets the object: thus, a finger nail with a long red to a flamingo, or the tube that becomes a dog. The reason for the hand and fingers appear in many works of Armando Testa, but the peak is reached with the sculpture "Time", or the tree of hands, where a giant hand come from other 5 small hands, and from these still other hands, forming the fingers, everything eventually ends up taking the form of a tree.

Then, my favorites were the images of various objects and animals made from ... food. A chair made of ham, a fig tree becomes a mandolin, an elephant made of pieces of carrot, and many others. "In my profession I have to enhance the daily food between cutlery precious, hungry mouths, sparkling dishes, but sometimes I feel the desire to give it all up, shake hands with the kitsch and interpret spaghetti, fruit, ham and eggs free combinations and voluptuous" declared the artist. In fact, in the recent past, it was the Armando Testa agency to design the advertising campaign Esselunga "Famous for Quality", where various foods are creatively transformed into celebrities, real or fictitious, each character receives a name that combines the name of the food the name of the person in history. Perhaps all of us know John Lemon, Agent 00 slices, eggplant Jones, Piero Della Franpesca, King Solomon, and many other nice figurines that make merry our visits to the supermarket!

Through this exhibition, I learned that we do not need to travel so much for our imagination. Everything can be relative, everything can change, and even the most mundane objects can become special. The exhibition will be open until June 13, at the Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea Via Palestro 14.

How Do I Compere At A Function?

"What you see is what you get!" You want to be like?

recent experience, followed by a discussion with a friend, made me think about the fact that although you put the time to really know a person, not the first impression is one thing to overlook. It does not matter if this is the first meeting, or even the first phone call or e-mail first. In addition, working as a PR consultant, I have had many discussions with the word "image", sometimes used incorrectly, sometimes abused or taken for granted. However, I have often thought about the importance of creating an image for ourselves, an image to display when dealing with others.

Want to know how I feel? I think, going to the essence of things, that each of us must absolutely be appreciated and loved for what it is. If we feel judged or excluded for one reason or another, then the other person is not meant to be your friend, or there is no place for her in our lives. Having a positive image is not to 'say to the "prissy" because everyone knows that nobody is perfect and no one has a perfect life. If we try to get people to the contrary, the risk of sounding hypocritical or put people at ease with our so-called "perfection." What I consider more important is the attitude we have toward others. The other does not want an "idol" in which to build a statue, or someone who can make you feel complexed or less, but simply a person with whom to feel good, easily communicate, and share the good things. For this, it is essential to have a very positive attitude and genuine. Do not forget to be yourself! Even if you're not just the "comic" of the group that shoots 10 jokes per hour, or the social being that does not lose any opportunity to organize a party, just be calm, friendly, optimistic. There is no room for aggression, arrogance, or to complain constantly. How to avoid behaviors, I would add also the rumor (especially if you've just met the person in front of you) or the jokes and offensive comments against certain categories people.

We know that we all have or have had our problems, big or small, our weaknesses, our disappointments - I've had it! But is not the fault of the whole world. And then, everything is solved! In addition, you are more tempted to admire a person who has overcome past problems and has found the strength to go forward, he wants you to believe that everything has always been since the day he was born! So, smile at people and life, and he will change everything!
